The Mirage

In the heart of the city lived a man named Elias, whose days were marked by a relentless pursuit of truth. Once, he had been an idealist, convinced that the world was a grand puzzle waiting to be solved. He read philosophy, studied history, and embraced the principles of justice and morality. Yet, as years wore on, his ideals began to crumble beneath the weight of a harsher reality. Elias had once been a successful architect, crafting elegant buildings with precision. But as he ventured deeper into his career, he discovered that the city’s façade hid a darker truth. Corruption was rampant, deceit was the norm, and every step towards success seemed to come with a price. Projects were manipulated for profit, and integrity was traded for power. The beauty he once saw in the world’s structures now seemed hollow, the grand design nothing more than a mirage. The disillusionment took root in his heart, turning into a smoldering anger that he could no longer ignore. Every street corner he pass...

Past Life

In the quiet town of Glenshire, a man named Thomas lived a life that felt just a touch out of sync. He was a painter, with an almost obsessive affinity for landscapes that seemed to hover at the edge of his memory. His small studio was filled with canvases of serene meadows, stormy seas, and ancient stone bridges, all painted with a nostalgia that puzzled him. One late autumn evening, as he worked on a canvas depicting a quaint village nestled beside a deep forest, a peculiar sensation washed over him. The scene he was painting felt intimately familiar, as though he had once walked those cobblestone streets and wandered those shadowy woods. He shook his head, dismissing the feeling as fatigue. It was then that he met Eleanor. She was a young woman who wandered into his studio, drawn by the artwork in the window. Her eyes were like the summer skies he often painted, full of warmth and curiosity. They struck up a conversation about art and life, and an unexpected connection sparked betwe...

Jack

Once, there was a man named Jack who seemed to have a knack for finding trouble. His early years were marked by a rebellious spirit and a thirst for thrill-seeking that often led him down dark paths. From a young age, he dabbled in drugs, finding temporary solace in their numbing effects. But what began as experimentation soon spiraled into addiction, and Jack found himself trapped in a cycle of despair. There were times when Jack hit rock bottom. He found himself on the edge of oblivion, contemplating whether life was worth living at all. Suicide attempts marked the lowest points in his journey, each time somehow surviving the brink of death. Yet, each survival only seemed to deepen his sense of hopelessness. Amidst the darkness, there were fleeting moments of clarity. Jack would occasionally reach out for help, only to recoil back into his self-destructive habits. It wasn't until he encountered a stranger on a park bench one cold winter evening that things began to change. The st...

The Puzzle 🧩 Piece

Image
In a world where time moved in endless circles, Seven lived quietly among the masses, unnoticed and unremarkable. He was called Seven because, as the legend went, he was destined to be the missing piece that awakened a world slumbering in monotony. Seven had grown up hearing tales from his grandmother about a prophecy foretelling the coming of a figure named Seven, who would break the eternal cycle and bring about a new dawn. Yet, as he grew older, he dismissed these stories as mere folklore. He worked diligently as a clerk in a nondescript office, pushing papers day in and day out, just like everyone else in the city of Aetherium. One fateful evening, while walking home through the labyrinthine streets of Aetherium, Seven stumbled upon an ancient artifact buried beneath the cobblestones. It was a mosaic puzzle, intricately carved and glowing softly with an otherworldly light. Seven felt an inexplicable pull towards it, as if it held the key to something greater than himsel...

Goodbye Letter

Dear Depression, Low Self-Esteem, and Drug Addiction, I write this letter with a heart full of mixed emotions but also with a profound sense of liberation. You have been constant companions in my life for far too long, each of you leaving your own mark on my journey. Together, you formed a formidable barrier between me and the person I truly want to be. Depression, you made every day a struggle, weighing me down with a darkness that seemed insurmountable at times. Low self-esteem, you whispered cruel lies into my ears, convincing me I was never good enough, never worthy of love or success. And drug addiction, you promised escape but only ensnared me further in a cycle of despair and dependency. But today, I am choosing to say goodbye. Goodbye to the days spent in the grip of sadness and hopelessness. Goodbye to the self-doubt that held me back from embracing my true potential. Goodbye to the false comfort and destructive allure of substances. I am reclaiming my life, one step at a time...
